Claire Lynch & Front Porch String Band
Originally called Hickory Wind, the Front Porch String Band was formed in Alabama in the 70s. They released two original albums for Rebel Records and a collection entitled Hills of Alabam . They feature Claire Lynch's wonderfully expressive voice and this album is as fresh as the day it was released. Listen to the original "Hills of Alabam" or the Gordon Lightfoot cover of "Go My Way".
