Love, Lost And Found (2009)

Lost & Found

Love, Lost and Found marked a transitional period for the Lost & Found as it was the last recording to feature the late, great Dempsey Young. Seven of the album’s 13 songs were recorded in 2003 with Young, including his fine re-make of  “A Daisy a Day.” Scott Napier was brought in to to fill Young’s shoes, joining Ronald Smith (banjo), Scottie Sparks (guitar) and Allen Mills (bass), and the rest of the material was completed in 2008. Other highlights are Mills’ strong vocals on the popular “That’s What Country Folks Do,” “If Today Was the Last Day,” “Don’t Let Your Sweet Love Die” and Pete Goble’s “Pretty Roses Remind Me of You.”
