Jeremy Stephens
Jeremy Stephens began his musical journey at a very young age. Growing up in southside Virginia, he was exposed to the rich musical culture and history of the region. This exposure formed a love and passion for the bluegrass, old-time, and related music which he heard, and he took up his first instrument and true love, the banjo, as a five year old boy.
Bluegrass audiences will recognize Stephens from his work with High Fidelity, which he co-founded in 2014 and leads full time along with his spouse and musical partner Corrina Rose Logston. In addition he is a past member of The Chuck Wagon Gang and regularly plays on the Grand Ole Opry with Jesse McReynolds and the Virginia Boys.
An extremely versatile musician, Stephens arranges music, plays a number of instruments including guitar, banjo and mandolin, and is as comfortable singing lead vocals as he is in a supporting role, singing harmonies. He has a passion for using his talents to preserve and carry forward styles of music which have somewhat fallen by the wayside in this day and time and is most known for his love and interpretation of the music of Don Reno and Reno’s contemporaries
